Christmas time

We have been busy with Christmas activities at church and Mary Ellen's school. On the days, we are home, we try to do some activities and we have our advent time each day. Mary Ellen gets out of school next week for Christmas Break, so I am sure we will have a few more projects then.

Here are some pics from the Christmas program at church that Mary Ellen was in and her school program, along with some other random Christmas fun!

Charlotte is 2!!!!

It is hard to believe, but Charlotte is another year older. She is 2! We celebrated her birthday twice with a party a couple of weeks ago, centered around her favorite animal, a horse. Yesterday, we celebrated with lunch at McDonalds and dinner at Hometown pizza, and of course opening presents and blowing out candles on cupcakes! She seemed to really enjoy herself, and understood that this was her day!!

We are still here!

I don't know if anyone is still following this blog or not, but I am going to try hard to work on updating it more regularly.  Since the last post, when I detailed that Mary Ellen turned 4, and we had moved to Hodgenville, we have actually moved into a house here, and Charlotte is about to turn two in a little over two weeks!  We have already celebrated with friends and family with a horse party, but I am sure we will do something on her actual birthday!  We have also found out that the Richey crew will be growing by one more!  We will be welcoming our third little princess the end of March into our family!  Here are a few pictures to update on the girls, and I will work on being more diligent about keeping everyone up to date!

Things have changed in many ways!!

It has been a long time since I have posted. For those that don't know, we have moved to Hodgenville, KY. Paul is the pastor of First Baptist Church Hodgenville. We moved late April and are settling into our new home. With that, there is a lot we are still getting put together and therefore, the blog has been neglected:) But, to get everyone updated on the girls and such, here are a few pics to hold you over. Hopefully, in the next few weeks, we will be closing on our house and able to be even more settled!

Hodgenville is the birthplace of Abraham Lincoln, so we enjoy visiting the statues.

Mary Ellen turned 4 on May 8. We celebrated that day, the weekend, and even returned to Little Rock last week for a birthday party.

Riding her new bike!

The whole family participating in Relay for life.

We love visiting the Sweet Shoppe!

Easter Egg Hunt

We had so much fun going to the Easter Egg Hunt with some of our favorite friends, Caroline, Emily, and Hannah!  Mary Ellen and Caroline were so ready to hunt as many eggs as they could as can be seen in Mary Ellen's full basket.  Charlotte was much more content picking up one egg, examining, and then finding something to play with on the playground.  Charlotte got to the point that she would put her basket down and bring an egg to it once in awhile.  It was just too much to carry!  Both of the girls wore dresses that Granny made for me when I was a little girl.  It was very neat to see them in them, and Mary Ellen loved being able to say that she was wearing one of mommy's dresses!
