10 months old

Charlotte is 10 months old! Can't believe that we are only two short months until her first birthday. She is growing, exploring, and loving everything. She has her first word, which I am very excited to say is "mama!" She says it all the time, which of course, I don't mind:) She still just has two teeth, but she is working on top ones, and it doesn't impede her eating at all. She is into everything and loves anything her sister is doing. I am sure we will see so much more from her over the next two months!

9 month stats

Charlotte had her 9 month appointment today. She weighs 21 lbs and 2 oz. Her length is 28 3/4". I looked back at Mary Ellen's stats and actually found that she weighed a few ounces more and was a little longer. But, Charlotte seems bigger to me, but maybe I just forgot!

Charlotte is crawling all over the place and is into everything! She is pulling up on things and get so excited about new discoveries. She loves her big sister and wants to do everything that she does! Charlotte also loves her food and is completely eating table foods, so this is a great picture to share of her:

Ready for some football!

With the start of football season, the girls were equal opportunity fans supporting both teams that are represented in the house!  It did help that they played on two different days! I do have to say that no matter which team Mary Ellen is wearing, she continues to go around saying, "Woo Pig!"  I tried to convince her otherwise, but she insists that is the right thing to say! When both teams play on the same day, a decision will have to made on which team they support.  Guess who will be getting them dressed?!?!

Play time

Here are a few pictures from some play time with friends and Daddy!

Mary Ellen's first day of school

I didn't realize I hadn't posted a few pics from Mary Ellen's first day of 3 year old class.  She loves school, or as she calls it, "playschool."  There are three other girls that she talks about in her class, and she loves that one day a week, she takes her lunch and stays longer.  She also likes that she goes downstairs for her class, so she feels that it is a big girl class!  I can usually get out of her at least one thing that she did at school a day, so that is much better than last year.  Pretty soon, she will be starting music, chapel, and Spanish at school.  I know that she will really enjoy those!
