More "Pum-pums"

Since we can't go anywhere without Mary Ellen pointing out all of the pumpkins, we took Mary Ellen to a pumpkin patch. But, since she isn't really too big on the petting zoos, we let her walk through the rows of pumpkins. She was in heaven being able to see so many pumpkins and picking out her special pumpkins!

Park

At the park the other day, Mary Ellen really discovered the slide. She has been on the slide before, but this time, she did it by herself. After being scared of the rides at the fair, Mary Ellen would throw herself down the slide without being worried how she was sitting or if I was there to catch her. She really liked climbing her way through the play equipment and going down the slides. We are trying to take advantage of the days without rain and enjoy the pretty weather.

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

We celebrated Paul's birthday both on Sunday and Monday. Mary Ellen enjoyed all of it, especially helping with the opening of presents. She also really liked having ice cream birthday cake!

Arkansas State Fair

Mary Ellen got to go to her first state fair. I have to admit that she didn't really like things as much as we thought she would. When we tried the carousel, she cried her way through it. And, as much as she likes animals, she didn't like them as much up close and personal. But, we did find that she really liked the worm ride, and we ended up riding it three times. As always she liked watching all of the people and finding good things to eat!

Family Fun Fest

We have been taking advantage of various activities around town. Last weekend, there was a family fun fest. She thought about bouncing with the balloons, but wasn't too sure about it. She liked the big building blocks, and she is ready to be a football player. Of course, she really liked watching the other kids.

Pum Pum

Mary Ellen loves pumpkins, and she goes around pointing out all of the "pum pums." She found that she can pick up the small one on the front porch, so she was carrying it around so proudly!

Birthday cupcakes

When we celebrated Caki's birthday, we had these wonderful ice cream cupcakes. Mary Ellen was looking at them even while taking a picture with Daddy. She then loved eating hers!
