Four Generations!

Here is a picture of four generations almost a year since the last time we took a picture like this. It is a lot harder to get a toddler to sit still for pictures now!

Fayetteville's Farmer's Market

We went to Fayetteville this weekend for a girls' weekend. We spent a wonderful Saturday morning walking around the Farmer's Market there. Mary Ellen started out in her stroller, and then as the crowds died down, I let her walk. As you can see, at that point, she wanted to push the stroller herself. We had a great time!

Showing off

Mary Ellen modeled her hippy shirt in honor of the 40th Anniversary of Woodstock, while eating blueberries out of the colander!

Girls Just Want To Have Fun!

Mary Ellen and I were playing around the other night. I decided that she needed to experience the 80s with a ponytail!

15 month check-up

Mary Ellen had her 15 month check-up today. She played in the office before the doctor came in. She was enjoying pushing the car around the room. She weighs 25lbs 11oz, and is 31 inches. I thought that she was going to weigh a lot more, and she seems so tall these days. It is hard to gauge it. Everything else looked great!

15 months old

On my 15 month birthday, I spent the day trying out my bubble mower,

helping to clean up,

and of course, enjoying everything I eat!

This corn on the cob is good!

Fire Truck

It has been raining a lot, so we went walking around the mall one day this week. Mary Ellen got to ride on the fire truck, and as you can see she really liked exploring it!

Columbus, OH

We were in Columbus, OH for the Gideon Convention about a week ago. During the week, we had a lot of fun events and spent time with great friends. Mary Ellen got to try a lot of new things.
At the waterpark, it was raining, so it wasn't a very successful try at getting Mary Ellen use to the water again.
But, she did enjoy funnel cake at the water park!

Playing at the park with balls and anything else she could find.

Mary Ellen met Quinn for the first time. Mary Ellen always wanted to know where she was and hoped that Quinn would share her toys.

At the zoo, watching the elephant and sting rays. Mary Ellen was getting use to the aquariums and getting close to them, until one of the sting rays came up right beside her.

Enjoying my food...

... Especially when I can get it all over me!

Mary Ellen is a great eater. She has recently learned how to dip her food, so she loves dipping everything, even if it doesn't make sense or sound good to the rest of us. Many days, the clothes comes off after a meal to be sprayed before entering the wash. Below, though, is one shirt that didn't make it past the table. We decided that it had served its purpose.
